A highly passionate individual with a dream to shape my home country, India’s hospitality industry. I am eager to jump into the next phase of my life by choosing to pursue an MSc in International Tourism and Hospitality Management course, at the reputed Manchester Metropolitan University. I believe that this opportunity will provide me with everything I need to leverage my skills and knowledge in providing unforgettable experiences to my customers.

I have a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Amity University. I maintained good academics throughout my journey. Before this, I went to Himalayan International Residential School and completed my higher secondary education. I attained my secondary education certification from Army Public School.

I did an internship at Satidadi Agro Manufacturers Private Limited as a Human Resource Management Intern. In this company, my roles and responsibilities were encompassed to maintain HR records and provide technical support in the recruitment process. I helped in screening the right candidates and scheduling interviews. I assisted in the smooth onboarding of new hires. I was also responsible for training the new hires about the company’s operations and cultures. After graduation, I joined Barsana Hotels and Resorts, as a Front Office Associate in a full-time role. In this, I oversee the check-ins, check-outs and reservations for the customers. I was responsible for ensuring that the customers had the best experiences. I worked with the team to make sure that rooms were clean and the food was hygienic and tasty. Added a few aesthetics in our waiting lobbies which appealed to the customers. I also introduced welcome drinks, the unique part about this, we offer two drinks, one the local drink and another from the state of our customers which made them very happy and this helped in repeat stays because we made a good impression. Lastly, I collaborated with different teams with high standards and quick service delivery for customer satisfaction.

Right from childhood whenever my parents took me to hotels, I used to see the hospitality people who help every customer in every possible way in their hotels. Be it ordering food, providing rooms or taking orders, you name it they are very happy to help. I loved how they would resolve every issue without getting irked. I liked the aura in which they carry themselves. For me, hospitality was not just a profession but was more about catering to people's needs. At that moment, I decided that I wanted to get into this domain and assist people in ensuring their best stay. In our busy lives, we get only a few chances to go out and stay in good hotels and enjoy ourselves with our families. But just imagine if someone failed to enjoy their stay how the feeling will be? Therefore, I have decided that I will provide world-class experiences for my customers that they will remember and will probably come back again and make wonderful memories that eventually act as a catalyst in our growth. In my experience at Barsana Hotels and Resorts, there are certain aspects in which I lack knowledge and skills. With my HR internship and front office experience, I feel that I cannot fully leverage my hospitality skills. This is a huge domain that requires many skills like multitasking, attention to detail, time management understanding the customer etc. Therefore, I want to learn advanced skills I am eager to pursue this course- MSc International Tourism and Hospitality Management. This course is a strategic step, perfectly aligned with my ambitions, that will allow me to level up myself to satisfy customers and grow in business, a win-win.

Studying for my MSc in International Tourism and Hospitality Management in the UK feels like embarking on a thrilling adventure filled with endless possibilities. I'm excited to immerse myself in a vibrant academic community known for its excellence in education. Beyond just gaining knowledge, I look forward to the personal growth that comes from living and studying in a new country, surrounded by diverse cultures and perspectives. The prospect of building connections with industry professionals and participating in internships or placements adds a tangible, real-world dimension to my learning journey. As I prepare to take this step forward, I'm filled with anticipation for the experiences, friendships, and insights that await me along the way.

After finishing my program, I will come back to India and join a few renowned hotels like Hilton, Radisson Hotel Group, Taj Hotels, Hyatt and Marriot. I will be eligible to apply for roles comprising Hotel Manager, Hospitality Consultant, Tourism Development Officer, or Destination Manager. I aim to shape India’s hospitality industry and ensure the best customer experiences.
